Discovery
Built in Germany for discerning birdwatchers around the world, the Discovery 8x44 and Discovery 10x44 set new standards for optical excellence. The Discovery´s ergonomic Softgrips are especially formed soft thumb cushions with a non-slip surface that make it unique in handling. With the extensive eye relief, you benefit from a maximum viewing comfort. High-Definition XP-Optics deliver a first-class light transmission, brightness and optimal contrast.
Using the purest index matched glass and coatings using rare-earth formulations of titanium, fluoride and other mineral substrates. The result is not only a first-class light transmission and remarkable brightness with crisp images right to the edge of the field of view. Contours are always clear and easily made out; incidental light is reduced to a minimum. Perfect, high resolution observing results are guaranteed, even under the worst weather conditions, in poor light or at the onset of dusk.
Containing a specially developed dielectric mirror with a vapour-deposited phase correction coating. This high-tech phase correction gives exact resolution of detail and true colours. It also reflects up to 99% of incoming light. In addition, the dielectric mirrors prevent aging and extends the life of the coating. The perfectly adjusted distance of the exit pupil and the large diameter of the ocular lens provide you with relaxed and exact observing experiences. The larger than average objective diameter of 44mm guarantees clear, detailed and brilliant observation.
Skyhawk Pro
For those after an affordable birdwatching binocular, then look no further than the Skyhawk Pro 8x42, 8x32, 10x42 or 10x32. With their unmatched comfort and ease of handling, legendary robustness and extra lightweight, the STEINER SkyHawk Pros are the top binoculars for any situation. With precision-crafted High-Contrast-Optics and close focus range of approx. 2 meters they are perfect for both beginners and passionate professionals.

The Skyhawk Pro's are also now nitrogen pressurised through their unique 2-way-valve technology preventing fogging on the inside of the binoculars while keeping them pressure tight under water to a depth of 1 m. This high-tech solution completely eliminates the possibility of condensation forming inside the binoculars. Even temperature fluctuations between -20 °C and +70 °C do not have any adverse effects on the functionality of nitrogen-filled STEINER binoculars. The unparalleled 2-way-valve technology makes it possible to inspect the binoculars even after a number of years.
STEINER has developed its own eyecups with special, ergonomic side flaps to minimize stray light and the influence of wind. The side flaps are made of soft, hypoallergenic silicone that comfortably fits the contours of the eye. They can be folded down as needed. The twist-up eyecups offer four different settings and make it easy for spectacle wearers to find the right position so that they too can take advantage of the entire field of view.
